Day 21 – Chalkboard Organizers {31 Cheap & Easy DIY Organizers}

Spread the love

Think you have to spend a lot of money on costly organizing tools to get your house in order?  Nope!  Getting organized doesn’t have to be expensive!

Do you sometimes forget important details or lose the sticky note you wrote a reminder on?  Having a permanent place to keep those sorts of reminders or messages is a great way to get organized!

Today I want to show you some cheap & easy DIY chalkboard organizers.

  • If you want to go big and keep your reminders right where you come and go from your home, how about a chalkboard on your door?  Chalk paint is relatively inexpensive and you can use it in lots of places.

  • For keeping track of important dates and schedules, a chalkboard calendar comes in handy.  You can buy them but they aren’t cheap.  Here’s a DIY version that you can use as part of a command centre for the whole family, or in a child’s room to keep track of their school assignments.

I Heart Organizing

  • On a smaller scale, chalkboard labels are very handy.  I use them in my pantry on my jars and bins so I can change them as needed.

  • Instead of chalkboard, you can also use whiteboards.  I have one in our command centre for our weekly reminders and it really helps me ensure that things don’t slip through the cracks.
