Day 7 – Organizing Paperwork {31 Cheap & Easy DIY Organizers}
Think you have to spend a lot of money on costly organizing tools to get your house in order? Nope! Getting organized doesn’t have to be expensive!
Is paperwork your nemesis? Piles on counters, tables, desks, or any other surfaces in your home? It seems to multiply while we’re sleeping!
Having a system in place to deal with paperwork is crucial to keeping your life and home organized. And you don’t have to buy expensive organizing products to set something up! Here are several great cheap and easy DIY ideas you can try in your home!
- Here’s a true cheap & easy DIY Paper Organizer. It’s made from cereal boxes! So you don’t have to spend anything extra except whatever you use to decorate the boxes. Click the link below the picture for details.

- This is a genius idea of turning wire cubes turned into a paper organizer. We’ve got these cubes in several places in our home but I never thought of putting them together this way! You can use each “level” for a different family member or for a different activity or a different type of paperwork or whatever works best for you!

- Another way to get paperwork organized and off your counter is to make a hanging pocket organizer. You can hang these on the wall, the back of a door, or inside a cabinet door. Using vertical space is great!

- Another idea is to use a basket to hold files with paperwork. This way you can file papers right away and have them handy. Just make sure you use a vertical basket, not a flat one (those just turn into piles pretty quickly!). Shop your home. You probably have an extra basket sitting around somewhere being underutilized!
