Day 12 – Recipes and Menu Plans {31 Cheap & Easy DIY Organizers}

Spread the love

Think you have to spend a lot of money on costly organizing tools to get your house in order?  Nope!  Getting organized doesn’t have to be expensive!

Today I’m talking about recipe organizers and menu planning organizers. The cheap and easy DIY kinds. Here are a few of my favourite DIY ideas!

  • Here’s a cheap and easy DIY recipe organizer for all the printed recipes you have.  You can group your recipes together with a ribbon or binder rings.  It can be as fancy or simple as you’d like.  But at least they are all in one place.

  • Another cheap and easy DIY organizer for your recipes is a recipe binder.  There are tons of tutorials and printables online to help you do this, but basically all you need is a binder and a 3-whole punch to get started.  You can make your recipe binder as fancy as you’d like, but the point is to gather your recipes in one place to make meal planning easier.  You can even include meal planning resources in your recipe binder.  If you want to make a really pretty and organized binder, you can check out my friend Alli’s kitchen binder.  She has all kinds of beautiful printables so you can create your own recipe binder, or a full fledged kitchen binder that includes things like meal planning, cleaning, and other kitchen organizing printables.  The link below this photo has all her kitchen organizing printables so scroll down to find what you need.  You can also check out her 31 Days to a Clean & Organized Kitchen series for more details on how she uses her binder and printables.

  • Just like with recipe binders, there are also a lot of menu planning tutorials and DIY organizers online.  Here’s one that I like.  It’s a DIY magnetic menu plan board.  Click the link below the picture for the tutorial.

How do you organize your recipes?  Have you DIY’d something for recipes or meal planning?
