Day 4 – Electronics/Entertainment Organizers {31 Cheap & Easy DIY Organizers}

Spread the love

Think you have to spend a lot of money on costly organizing tools to get your house in order?  Nope!  Getting organized doesn’t have to be expensive!

Today I want to show you some ideas for how to organize your electronics and entertainment items.  Things like chargers, cords, ear buds, and DVD’s can become overwhelming if they aren’t organized.  They can get misplaced, tangled, or just plain mixed up, and it’s frustrating when you need to use a specific item and can’t easily do that.

When my kids were younger, we organized all their DVD’s, video games, and video game accessories in the entertainment area of our basement.

From overwhelmed to organized. Organized basement entertainment area. Television with shelves holding CDs and DVDs.

Organizing Our Basement Entertainment Area

Everything was in dollar store baskets that I already had, and on shelves we got on Freecycle. It was easy to find what we need and {theoretically} it’s easy to put everything away.

Those aren’t really DIY organizers, but it shows you don’t have to spend a lot and you can repurpose things you already have.
