Day 20 – Craft Supplies {31 Cheap & Easy DIY Organizers}
Think you have to spend a lot of money on costly organizing tools to get your house in order? Nope! Getting organized doesn’t have to be expensive!
I already showed you DIY ideas for organizing ribbon and washi tape earlier in this series, but if you’re a crafter, or have one in your family, there are lots more craft supplies that need organizing! Here are some more cheap and easy DIY organizers for craft supplies.
- You can buy lots of pretty art caddies, but here are instructions for how to make one yourself for a fraction of the cost. This is a great storage option and it travels to wherever the creative magic happens. DIY’ing means you can customize it to suit your own needs too! This can be used for kids’ supplies (as pictured) or adult craft tools like paintbrushes, scissors, punches, etc.
- Pegboards are great for maximizing the vertical space for craft supplies storage. You can get a basic pegboard and then pretty it up as much or as little as you’d like. Chances are, if you’re using a pegboard to organize your craft supplies, you’re probably pretty creative, so this DIY idea may be just what you need to keep everything organized!
- And I can’t believe I missed this one in the ribbon and washi tape post, but here’s another cheap and easy DIY organizer for ribbon. Just use any basket with holes to keep those rolls from unraveling and getting tangled.
I love how creative these ideas are! I’m not a particularly crafty person, but my creative juices are much more inclined to flow when my craft supplies are organized.
