5 More Reasons Clutter Costs You

A couple of months ago I shared 10 Ways Your Clutter May Be Costing You Money and it was a very popular post.  It seems a lot of people are concerned that they may be missing out financially by having too much clutter in their homes!

Since it’s such a big issue, here are 5 more ways your clutter may be costing you money.

  1. You are overwhelmed by the clutter at home, so you want to escape from it by going shopping {retail therapy anyone?!}, but then you end up spending money on items you don’t need.
  2. You pay high interest charges on your credit card debts because you are living beyond your means.
  3. You pay for magazine, newspaper, or digital subscriptions that you don’t read or keep up with.
  4. When you sell your home you can’t get your asking price {or it takes a long time to sell} because it is so cluttered.
  5. You live in a larger {more expensive} house or apartment than you really need to, because you own too much stuff.
